Human Health and Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist

CBCL Limited is currently seeking an Environmental Professional with expertise and experience in human health and environmental risk assessments and risk management of contaminated sites. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the assessment and application of Federal, Provincial and Municipal guidance and regulations as they pertain to environmental requirements on a diverse range of projects.

Experience in one or more of the following other areas including environmental site assessments, remediation, environmental toxicology, contaminant hydrogeology, environmental statistics, project management and proposal preparation are also considered valuable assets.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in an applicable discipline with 7 to 10 years of relevant practical experience. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity for growth within our diverse environmental team across Eastern Canada, including guidance and mentorship from experienced senior staff.

The successful candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills.  Analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities are also important traits.

A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel is required.
