Environmental Impact Assessment and Sciences Specialist

CBCL Limited is currently seeking an Environmental Professional with expertise and experience addressing the requirements of Federal, Provincial and Municipal environmental legislation and policy; particularly as it pertains to permitting and Environmental Impact Assessments. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the assessment and application of Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations and permitting requirements as they could pertain to environmental requirements on a diverse range of infrastructure projects.

Experience in one or more of the following specialized areas including species at risk, wetlands, terrestrial, avian and aquatic biology, climate change adaption, stakeholder consultation, project management and proposal preparation are also considered valuable assets.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in an applicable discipline with 5 to 10 years of relevant practical experience. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity for growth within our large diverse environmental team across Eastern Canada, including guidance and mentorship from experienced senior staff.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills.  Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving and decision-making capabilities are also key.

A valid driver’s licence and a willingness to travel is required.
