Over the past two decades CBCL Limited has undertaken numerous bridge design assignments for the Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island Departments of Transportation. As the firms experience has grown the size and complexity of these bridge assignments has also increased. In response to the growing challenges and opportunities in this field, the firm has built an experienced and innovative bridge design group that is capable of tackling more challenging bridge design assignments.

This design group has been together for many years and has developed considerable experience not only in the design of new bridge structures, but also in the rehabilitation of existing structures and in bridge construction engineering for larger local and international bridge projects. The design group has always strived to adopt an integrated team approach involving both clients and constructors alike. This approach has consistently allowed the group to meet project schedule and cost control targets.
