CBCL Limited is pleased to particpate in ShareReady. On November 3rd, 2011, Nova Scotia Power in cooperation with Nissan Canada and O'Regan's Nissan Halifax announced the launch of ShareReady, an exciting new electric vehicle pilot program using Nissan LEAF™ all-electric vehicles.

For the duration of the two year program, the car will be branded with ShareReady and CBCL logos and will be regularly monitored by NSP. The data collected will help form decisions about the usage of the vehicles and the infrastructure required to support them in our region.

As part of the program, CBCL will be acquiring one of only 10 2012 Nissan Leaf all electric cars that will be available in Nova Scotia (prior to their release for sale next year). In support of this endeavor, our landlord, Greenwood Lane has offered to provide us a parking spot and a location to install a charger for the vehicle. Our intention is to give numerous staff members the opportunity to commute to/from work with the vehicle and during the day and to have it available to use in lieu of taxi's for travelling to local job sites and meeting locations on a 'signed out' basis. We are very excited to be part of this new, unique and clearly industry leading sustainability program.
