CBCL has been a partner in the design of onshore and offshore gas projects in Atlantic Canada. CBCL's role consists of detailed design phase services for piping, mechanical, electrical, controls, civil and structural. Projects included follow on engineering and post commissioning projects for the Goldboro gas plant, primarily designed for liquids separation and ethane removal. A related project was detailed design of the Point Tupper liquids fractionation plant that processes the liquids from the Goldboro plant producing condensate, propane and butane. CBCL's personnel prepared equipment layout plans, piping plans, isometrics, specifications and contract document.
