CBCL has been a leader in the design of central heating plants in Atlantic Canada. Projects vary from new plants to plant upgrades and conversions to natural gas. Our scope has included entire green-field plants from civil design through to plant design, services during construction, commissioning and start-up. Recent projects have featured multi-fuel use; bunker, light oil and natural gas. The projects feature state of the art controls and DCS systems and emission controls including low NOx burners and flue gas recirculation with the objective of meeting CCME guidelines.
