CBCL's Mechanical Department consists of a group very qualified personnel located in our offices in Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Saint John, and St. John's with extensive experience in mechanical design, plant start-up and commissioning. Our staff has a broad range of experience in industry and consulting which permits us to bring the necessary depth of experience to any project.

Our senior engineers include individuals who have worked in power, pulp and paper, oil and gas, district heat, and manufacturing in the course of their careers. They are supported by designers and CAD operators with in-depth experience in plant layout and piping design. This capability has allowed us to perform the lead mechanical design role on most projects and to associate with specialist design firms on projects where specialist process design was required. Our solid experience in industrial plant design has also allowed us to complete the "balance of plant design" or offsite design on very large projects where the core plant was designed by others.
