CBCL Limited has provided multidiscipline engineering design services to integrated design teams seeking to balance the first costs, operating costs and environmental impact of buildings. We are developing our skills and experience in this area with current projects for which we are considering LEED^® registration and some with active CBIP applications. We are members of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and have seven LEED^® Accredited Professionals on staff. In addition, CBCL has one staff member who is currently both a member of the Board of Directors for the Atlantic Chapter of the CaGBC and a representative on the LEED^® Faculty. The LEED^® Faculty is a group of eleven Professionals located across Canada who teach the LEED^® instructional workshops on behalf of the national CaGBC.

CBCL was one of the first firms in Atlantic Canada to design Geothermal Heating and Cooling Systems. We seek opportunities to use the Integrated Design Process and firmly believe that optimal building solutions equal more than the sum individual discipline design solutions. Our clients benefit from the synergy responsiveness that arises from having the civil, structural, mechanical and electrical team members all within CBCL.
