Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments
|
CBCL Limited conducts phased assessments to assist clients in determining if contamination exists at a site. Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) are conducted to reduce the level of uncertainty with respect to potential environmental liabilities at a site and are often completed at the time of property transfer. If contamination is suspected or known then the property owner may wish to have a Phase II ESA or reconnaissance survey completed to determine the type and concentration of contamination at the site. A Phase III ESA is used to delineate the contamination and determine a remedial plan, if necessary. CBCL Limited staff completes these studies according to the standards outlined by the Canadian Standards Association and CCME guidelines. All tasks are preformed with due diligence, care and judgement necessary for an accurate assessment. Other areas of related work may include, tank investigations and removals, hazardous materials surveys and site decommissioning and remediation.
